| In her first three years, Lynora Sapp became the acknowledged First Lady of Real Estate in Athens and Clarke County. After teaching in public school for 32 years, Lynora entered the the real estate profession in 1981, at a time when interest rates were 16% and 17%. In her first year she was named to the Athens Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club and won the New Face of the Year Award. From 1982 to 1983, Lynora's annual sales went from $2 million a year to approximately $4 million, increasing sales $1 million a year. The first lady ever to be awarded life membership in the Athens Board of Realtors Million Dollar club , produced gross sales of over $18 million in 1998 with net sales of 13 million. Lynora sold 167 homes in 1998. | ||
